Moving out

Termination of the lease

A lease agreement valid until further notice can be terminated with a standard one-month notice period, calculated from the end of the termination month. Fixed-term lease agreements and any special conditions may differ in terms of termination. The lease agreement must be terminated in writing to the landlord, for example, by email. The landlord will always confirm the receipt of the termination. During the notice period, the property will be put back on the rental market, and the landlord has the right to arrange property viewings during the notice period.

Final cleaning:

The tenant is responsible for the final cleaning, which includes wiping down the kitchen cabinets, cleaning the floors and windows, and cleaning the stove and ventilation vents.

Final inspection of the apartment:

The landlord will inspect the apartment at the end of the rental agreement to ensure that no damages have occurred (excluding normal wear and tear). The tenant is responsible for covering the costs of any necessary repairs.

Notice of moving out to the property manager:

A moving-out notice must be submitted to the property manager, and any reserved sauna slots or parking spaces should be canceled at the same time.

Notification of moving to the registry office:

According to the law, a change of address notification must be made when moving permanently or for more than three months from one residence to another.
